Lucy grew up between the shores of Alabama and the hills of North Carolina. Since attending Bucknell University in Pennsylvania for Environmental Engineering, she has pursued whatever gem a region has to offer. Whether that be paddling through swamps, cycling up the East coast, chasing down rock art in the American southwest, or hiking in the Rockies, she believes that beauty and fun can be found anywhere. 

Hobbies outside of work include lots of trail running, canyoneering, and road trips with her funny husband. Otherwise, she can be found drawing maps and water coloring the landscape around her.
