Growing up in southern West Virginia, Logan spent much of her adolescence camping along rivers and lakes, riding bikes, kayaking, and hiking throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains. These early experiences fostered a deep appreciation for being outside and for the quiet, grounding moments that nature provides.
Drawn to outdoor therapy, Logan is motivated by a belief in the healing power of the natural world and the importance of caring, consistent relationships for at-risk adolescents. She values meeting individuals where they are and supporting them through challenges in an environment that encourages self-discovery, resilience, and personal growth.
Before transitioning into outdoor therapy, Logan worked as a high school special education math teacher. During her time in education, she learned that adolescents thrive when they receive individualized, compassionate support tailored to their unique needs. While teaching was meaningful, she recognized that her ability to support students was limited within the traditional education system.
Logan continues to find connection outdoors through hiking, climbing, kayaking, snowboarding, and intentionally slowing down in wild spaces. She believes that time outside offers a unique opportunity for reflection, growth, and healing.
