Jillian grew up in Colorado. Before pivoting to outdoor therapy, she fell in love with the outdoors as she found community and purpose working on and leading land stewardship crews throughout the intermountain west.
She received her bachelors degree in History and Geography from Colorado State University, where she concentrated on how culture is shaped by our environment and vice versa. She is passionate about the transformative power of wilderness and is honored to spend her life helping others heal in the environment that healed her as well.
While not trekking through the mountains or desert she can be found making music, reading, writing, or painting.
