Adam discovered the outdoors through climbing as a teenager and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the healing, challenge, and perspective that nature can provide. With more than 10 years of climbing and backpacking experience, he is passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, and meaningful life skills through outdoor experiences.
Before joining the Elements Wilderness Program team, Adam worked as an EMT and spent time living in New Zealand as a certified backpacking and climbing guide. His background combines wilderness leadership, emergency response experience, and a strong belief in the restorative power of nature.
Adam enjoys creating opportunities for students to grow through challenge, connection, and self-discovery in the outdoors. Outside of work, he spends time climbing, backpacking, traveling to national parks, and enjoying hobbies like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons. He also loves spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Cali.
