Reva has been treating children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness since 1999 starting as an RN, she then completed a Masters degree as a Family Nurse Practioner (FNP) as well as a Doctorate of nursing practice (DNP) in Psychiatry. She is a licensed APRN with a dual specialty in family practice and a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP)
Starting in 1999 Reva has extensive experience with adolescent treatment, having worked at The Center for Change, a specialty hospital for all ages with eating disorders, as well as co-existing psychiatric disorders. She also travels to Guatemala working with orphanages and mountain communities and the Dominican Republic working with Haitians in humanitarian health trips.
In addition to her role as Elements Wilderness Program’s psychiatric consultation support, Reva currently works with New Focus Academy a residential treatment program and autism school. She also works at Optum Health evaluating and treating medical and mental health care for underserved Medicaid and Medicare patients.
Reva has twin boys. One is on the high school hockey team and the other swim. She and her husband Ryan breed mini Labradoodles. Reva has hobbies when she hasn’t been in graduate school including skiing, boating, and quilting. She loves to travel with her family and has visited all 7 continents. She also loves ethnic foods from all parts of the world.
