Eleanor Asma, CSW

Family Therapist

Originally from Chicago, Eleanor ditched the Midwest for the Utah mountains where she attended the University of Utah and received her bachelor and master’s degrees in Social Work. Eleanor is now a mental health therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families to help them find some sense of peace and happiness within themselves, their relationships, life trajectory, self-image, and more. Eleanor is trained in various therapeutic modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT, The Gottman Method, trauma-informed yoga, mind-body bridging, and Neurofeedback. She loves utilizing various components from each of these modalities and incorporating them into creative and (hopefully) fun therapeutic interventions for individuals and families.

In addition to working with Elements Wilderness Program, Eleanor works as a private practice therapist, neurofeedback technician, and teaches group fitness classes in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah. When Eleanor isn’t working, she spends time baking sweet treats for her neighbors, taking her dog on hikes, or working on a new craft!
