James is a former electrician and current outdoorsman originally from South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. He spent two years traveling around the country in a converted school bus visiting national parks to fly fish, backpack, climb rocks and generally enjoy the outdoors.
He’s currently parked in Utah due to his desire to find deeply meaningful work helping people build skills they can take home with them while continuing to enjoy and spend as much time as possible in the wilderness. He’s also found tremendous value in the personal growth he’s experienced during his time working at elements and the friends he’s made among his co-guides.
